Some random thoughts

2 things struck me today:

1. "Creativity" is kind of like evolution. Evolution is the process of constant iterations with small changes between iterations, survival of the most adaptable etc. When it comes to idea generation, its kinda the same. You have lots and lots of idea. Usually the one that works starts as good, but with a small, sometimes imperceptible tweak, become amazing. And survives. The rest...die away.

2. There is an analogy to be made between the mind and the Internet (and not in the usual way of computers and servers being like neurons firing etc). The mind during meditation, especially in the early days, is always trying to interrupt, its always "on". The hard thing is to figure out how to let it slide, so speak. Just like the internet, it too is always on and trying to interrupt. Hard to ignore but when you do then you get to the good stuff.
