Clingy

I used to be clingy. I would be clingy with my ideas. I would dream them up, or they would come to me unexpectedly, and I would note them down and review them later.

When I would review them, I would make my first mistake. I would keep the audience to 1 person. Why? Because these ideas, THESE ideas, were the best ideas anyone had ever seen. And I need to get a head start on figuring them out better before bringing them out into the world.

In altMBA Project 2, as a group we assembled and shared almost 2500 ideas. On first review, I was stunned at how many of them are not just good, but great!

This one project, and working with my team made me realise that my ideas weren't the best. Neither were they the worst. They were just ideas. They just came into the world through my head, thats the only difference between my ideas and yours. Nothing else.
